 As designers we might serve various purposes in the production of a report. We may get involved in every aspect of production but the key roles are:

1. Coordinator - maintain communications with the contributors and coordinating the gathering and integration of the materials.

2. Tour guide - design a clear navigation that guides your audience through a consistent and engaging presentation.

SPECIAL REPORTS The best examples of online reports do not only offer what appears in the paper. The better efforts examine what of that is appropriate for the online audience. Offer the content that provides a deeper experience and an opportunity for the reader to participate and comment.
